    HighScope Septem Interesting commentary on the pros and cons of starting conversations and exchanging ideas about education in the world of social media. HighScope promotes family involvement through a partnership approach to the child’s care and education with ongoing exchange of information between the family and the setting. Curriculum-based workshops are used to support families and to promote children’s development at home.

    The High/Scope preschool approach is used in both public and private half- and full-day preschools, nursery schools, Head Start programs, day care centers, home-based day care programs, and programs for children with special needs. This document is comprised of 10 High/Scope fact sheets for parents, detailing the history of the High/Scope educational approach and describing its educational practice and curriculum. The major topic for each four-page fact sheet follows: (1) educational approach, including goals for young children and features of the High/Scope approach to early childhood education; (2) High/Scope Research.

    The High-Scope Educational Framework has been implemented in the Full Day Preschool Classroom since Begun over 30 years ago, it is used in Head Start and state-run preschools across California.
